Young man kills motorbike taxi driver, robs property

On December 15, Binh Duong police arrested Tran Van Phi (21 years old, from An Giang) to investigate the act of murder and robbery. On the same day, Phi was taken to reenact the crime scene.

At the police station, Phi confessed that in the early morning of November 27, he went to the Vung Tau intersection (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) to pick up a motorbike taxi from Mr. Nguyen Van Dong and asked him to take him to Binh Thang ward, Di An town.

On the way, this man had the intention of robbing property, so he told Mr. Dong to take him to a deserted area behind the Binh An textile industrial park, then suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed Mr. Dong repeatedly, causing the victim to collapse on the spot.

Before fleeing the scene, Phi searched for property, dragged the body into the bushes, then took the victim's motorbike and escaped.

The same morning, the body of a motorbike taxi driver was found dead with dozens of stab wounds.
