Falling into the side of a boat while fishing at sea, a fisherman from Nghe An died.

Accordingly, at around 0:00 on May 1, fisherman Bui Hoang Phuc and crew members on a fishing boat owned by a vehicle owner in Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu) were fishing at sea. While moving to collect the net, they unfortunately got entangled in an electric wire and fell onto the side of the boat. Although the fishermen gave first aid, Bui Hoang Phuc died 20 minutes later due to severe injuries.

After the incident, the crew on board called the victim's family and local authorities, and quickly steered the ship back to the mainland.

At 3:00 p.m. on May 1, local authorities, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station and the family were present at Lach Quen port to receive the victim's body ashore and bring it home to carry out burial procedures according to local customs.
