According to the police investigation, Ven Me Trang got married in Nam Can commune many years ago, and had a child. 4 months ago, Trang's husband unfortunately passed away due to a serious illness. At this time, Trang's fetus was 3 months old. Trang said that after her husband died, she was afraid that she would not be able to raise the child, so she came up with the idea of finding a way to go to China to give birth and then sell the child.
Lu Thi Nhung had a different situation. This young woman already had a boyfriend, but both families opposed the marriage, refusing to let her get married even though she was pregnant. Unable to convince her family, Nhung decided to go to China to give birth and sell the child.
Having "had sex before the bell rang", but when Moong Thi Sen announced her pregnancy to her boyfriend, he immediately "ran away", leaving her alone with the growing fetus. When she was 9 months pregnant, Sen decided to get in the car and start a journey that lasted for many days to sell her child.
