Afternoon of January 14,Department of Education and Traininggave Tet gifts to students and teachers in difficult circumstances in two districts of Quy Hop and Quy Chau.

This is a meaningful activity in response to the letter calling for support and help.poor peopleto welcome the Year of the Tiger 2022 by the Provincial Party Secretary. This activity is also an annual program maintained by the Department of Education and Training for many years for mountainous districts, especially those with special difficulties, every time Tet comes and Spring comes.

In Quy Hop district, the delegation visited and wished a Happy New Year to teachers and students of Minh Hop Primary School and some teachers in the commune. These are all cases of difficult circumstances, many of them are from poor households.

Visiting, giving gifts and wishing a Happy New Year to teachers and students of schools in Minh Hop commune, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh shared the difficulties of the schools, especially having to organize teaching and learning in the context of the complicated epidemic. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the schools would continue to make efforts and try to overcome difficulties and hardships to compete in teaching and learning well.

Coming to Chau Binh Secondary School (Quy Chau), the Director of the Department of Education and Training expressed his joy because although the school currently has more than 50% of students from poor households and mainly ethnic minorities, in recent years the school has always been one of the leading schools in Quy Chau district with many students achieving excellent results at the district and provincial levels and winning prizes at the Science and Technology competition.

In particular, the efforts of the teachers' collective were recognized when they organized boarding for more than 80 students in remote villages such as Thung Khang, Do 2, Do 3, even though the school was not yet recognized as a boarding school and the implementation still encountered many difficulties.

It is known that on this occasion, the delegation presented teachers and students in Chau Binh commune (Quy Chau), Minh Hop commune (Quy Hop) with 180 gifts and 30 cartons of milk with a total value of more than 120 million VND. This is the amount of money contributed by the industry, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, TH Group and a number of businesses and philanthropists joining hands to support.
