Ms. Thuy Anh - Head of the declaration and accounting department - Nghe An Tax Department said: Enterprises have not carried out dissolution procedures in accordance with the provisions of the Enterprise Law and the Tax Administration Law, and have sent dissolution documents to the business registration agency when they have not yet fulfilled their tax obligations. The reason for tax debt is that the enterprises are small in scale, and their products are not competitive enough in the market, leading to business losses. Not to mention that currently, the procedures for registering to establish a company or enterprise are quite easy, while the awareness of compliance with tax laws of some enterprises is not high.
A representative of the Nghe An Tax Department said: For businesses that voluntarily dissolve, stop, or cease operations, the tax authority will continue to review. After classification, the tax authority will take decisive measures to collect taxes.
