Nghe An: 50 garment workers hospitalized with suspected food poisoning

It is known that at 2:00 p.m. on May 22, 2017, after lunch, some workers at Hitexvinam Garment Factory experienced vomiting, stomachache, and headache.
By 4 p.m., 50 workers had to be hospitalized.

After receiving the news, leaders of Thai Hoa Town and the Food Safety Steering Committee were present at the factory to direct emergency work; directed Tay Bac General Hospital to receive the patient and investigate the incident.
HITEXVINAM export garment factory, in Nghia My Industrial Park, invested by a Korean enterprise. The garment factory is built on an area of 4.5 hectares; with a scale of 3,000 workers; started operating since 2017.
