Nghe An commends 38 union officials with achievements for workers
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the second time that Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has organized a conference to commend union officials at enterprises with many achievements in negotiating, signing and effectively implementing collective labor agreements.

Attending the conference were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of departments, branches, sectors, Chairmen of the Labor Federations of districts, cities, towns, industry unions and 38 typical grassroots union officials.
Before the conference, the Organizing Committee and the delegation held a flower offering ceremony at Uncle Ho's Statue at Ho Chi Minh Square.
At the conference, the report of the Provincial Labor Federation said: Currently, Nghe An province has 558 enterprises with 83,303 union members, 476 enterprises have collective labor agreements.
Enterprises that have established grassroots trade unions with collective labor agreements account for 85.3%. Of which, state-owned enterprises: 30/30 units, reaching 100%; FDI enterprises: 32/39, reaching 82%; non-state-owned enterprises: 407/489, reaching 83.2%.

In the 2021-2023 period, 58 new collective labor agreements were signed and 292 were amended and supplemented.
Results of scoring and classifying collective labor agreements in the whole province as of December 2022: Type A has 101 copies (21.2%); Type B has 257 copies (53.9%); Type C has 81 copies (17%); Type D has 37 copies (7.9%).
The 38 union officials at enterprises who were honored this time represent more than 2,800 officials who are members of the Executive Committee of the grassroots union in the enterprise sector who have done a good job in dialogue and negotiation by proactively working with employers to develop dialogue regulations, regulations for organizing labor conferences; organizing collective bargaining, signing, organizing implementation and monitoring collective labor agreements at enterprises.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation praised 38 union officials at 38 enterprises for their achievements in negotiating, signing and organizing the implementation of high-quality collective labor agreements, with many provisions beneficial to workers.
The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that the 38 union officials will continue to improve and enhance their qualifications, successfully complete their tasks, contributing to affirming and enhancing the position of the Vietnam Trade Union, accompanying businesses and workers.
