Nghe An quarantines 9 people returning from Corona epidemic area in Korea

On February 27, the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control said that it is closely monitoring, quarantining, and supervising 9 people returning from the epidemic area of ​​Daegu City and North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Of these 9 people, 2 people have symptoms of cold and fever. One person is being quarantined and treated at Quynh Luu District General Hospital. One person is being quarantined and treated at the Tropical Disease Center, Provincial General Hospital.

Yesterday (February 26), Nghe An Province Center for Disease Control took samples of the two people mentioned above and sent them to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology for testing.

The center also conducted epidemiological investigations on these two people to control the time, location and number of people they had contact with during their return to their locality.

The province is counting the number of people returning from South Korea. These people will be quarantined at home by the health sector in coordination with local authorities. Those returning from Daegu City and North Gyeongsang Province will be required to quarantine at hospitals and medical centers.
