Nghe An directed to strengthen patrols, control and handle violations of Directive 16
(Baonghean.vn) - The police force of districts, cities and towns in coordination with local authorities will increase patrols, control and handle administrative violations in epidemic prevention and control according to regulations.
On April 6, the People's Committee of Nghe An province sent an urgent dispatch to the Provincial Police; Provincial Military Command; Department of Health; Department of Justice; People's Committees of districts, cities and towns; and the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, requesting to continue to seriously implement Directive No. 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister.

The dispatch stated that, in the recent past, all levels and sectors have actively directed and seriously implemented Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
However, in the province, there are still some citizens and organizations that are not really determined and serious in implementing measures to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, such as: Some stores not on the list of essential goods are still open, crowded gatherings, many people do not wear masks in public places: Squares, entertainment areas...; Spreading false information, increasing prices of goods...
To continue to seriously implement Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in Nghe An province, the Provincial People's Committee requests:
People's Committees of districts, cities and towns, continue to direct and seriously and resolutely implement Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the management area, requesting strict handling of violations; Closely coordinate and grasp the number of citizens who have completed quarantine and returned to their localities to continue monitoring their health in the following days according to regulations.
Provincial Police, directing the police of districts, cities and towns to coordinate with local authorities to patrol, control and handle administrative violations in epidemic prevention and control according to regulations.
Provincial Military Command, continue to seriously and properly implement regulations at centralized quarantine sites; Prepare necessary conditions to issue Certificates and notify localities of citizens whose centralized quarantine period has expired as prescribed. In particular, coordinate with the Department of Health to seriously implement Official Dispatch No. 1459/CV-BCĐ dated March 20, 2020 of the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control. Carry out disinfection and sterilization at centralized quarantine areas that have completed the first phase, fully prepare necessary conditions to continue receiving citizens for quarantine (if any).
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health, continue to monitor and detect cases; Organize timely testing according to regulations; Prepare facilities and medical equipment to promptly handle emergency patients; Advise the Provincial People's Committee on a plan to respond to and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with phase 3 and above.
Deliver to the Department of Justice,Collect statistics on administrative violations and penalties in epidemic prevention and control to notify the People's Committees of districts, cities, towns and on mass media to propagate to the people and functional agencies to know and strictly implement.
Provincial departments, branches and sectors, continue to seriously implement Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic; Arrange and assign officers and employees to work reasonably and scientifically to ensure effective and timely work handling.
The Provincial People's Committee requests the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee,direct organizations and unions, request cadres and members to set an example in social distancing, avoiding large gatherings, wearing masks according to regulations...; effectively carry out the campaign to join hands, contribute to preventing, fighting and repelling the Covid-19 epidemic; Socially supervise the implementation of Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on implementing urgent measures to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic in the province.../.
