Nghe An announced the decision to reduce the prison sentence for 22 prisoners on the occasion of Lunar New Year.

On this occasion, at the Nghe An Provincial Police Detention Center, there were 22prisonerwere considered for sentence reduction, including 13 prisoners who had their entire prison sentence reduced.

These prisoners were sentenced to 6-48 months for the crimes of gambling, disturbing public order, traffic violations, and trading in prohibited goods. Accordingly, the prisoners all had a good rehabilitation process and strictly followed discipline, rules, and regulations during their sentence.

The reduction of prison sentences on the occasion of the Lunar New Year every year demonstrates the humane and lenient policy of the Party and State.
