According to the news ofNational Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from September 25 to 27, 2023, in the Central region, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain: North Central and Central Central regions, rainfall will generally range from 100 - 250mm/period, in some places over 300mm/period. Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas and the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.
To proactively respond and minimize damage caused by heavy rain and the risk of occurrencefloods, flash floods, landslides, The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control and the Provincial Police Department requests the Steering Committees for Disaster Prevention and Control of districts, cities, towns and relevant agencies and units to implement the following contents:
1. Closely monitor developments of heavy rain, floods, inundation, flash floods, and landslides, and provide timely and complete information to authorities at all levels and people so that they can proactively prevent, respond, and minimize damage.
2. Deploy shock forces to inspect and review residential areas along rivers, streams, and low-lying areas to proactively organize the relocation and evacuation of people in areas at high risk of deep flooding, flash floods, and landslides.
3. Organize forces to be ready to control and guide traffic, put up warning signs, especially at culverts, overflows, deep flooded areas, and fast-flowing water areas. Proactively arrange forces, materials, and means to handle incidents, ensuring smooth traffic on main traffic routes when heavy rain occurs.

4. Be ready to deploy measures to drain water, protect production, and prevent flooding in urban areas and industrial parks.
5. Direct the inspection, review, and implementation of operation plans and safety assurance for reservoirs and downstream areas, especially small hydroelectric reservoirs and important irrigation reservoirs, and arrange standing forces to operate and regulate and be ready to handle possible situations.
6. Organize a serious on-duty team, regularly synthesize and report on the situation of natural disasters and damage to the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Disaster Prevention.
