(Baonghean.vn) - People need to closely follow these regulations to effectively prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the new situation.

On the afternoon of December 21, the Center for Disease Prevention and ControlCOVID-19Nghe An province has Document No. 6433 on Guidance on adjusting some epidemic prevention measures.COVID-19sent to provincial departments, branches and sectors; COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command Center of districts, towns and Vinh city. The document clearly states:

About testing:Testing is not indicated for people's travel; testing is only performed for cases coming from areas with epidemics at level 4 or regional medical isolation (blockade) and suspected cases or cases with indications for epidemiological investigation coming from areas with epidemics at level 3.

Testing to handle outbreaks: Depending on risk factors, disease situation and outbreak level, localities decide on appropriate testing subjects and locations.

Regarding isolation and testing of close contacts of confirmed cases (F1):

1. For people who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have recovered from COVID-19 within 06 months from the time of being identified as F1 subjects: Quarantine at home, place of residence for 07 days, self-monitor health for the next 07 days. Comply with 5K, if there are abnormal signs of health such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of taste... then immediately notify the health authority for monitoring and handling according to regulations... Perform 02 SARS-CoV-2 tests (first day and 7th day).

2. People who have not received enough doses of COVID-19 vaccine or are unable to take care of their own health but have not received COVID-19 vaccine (elderly people over 60 years old, with underlying medical conditions, children (under 18 years old), pregnant women, disabled people, etc.): Quarantine at home or at their place of residence for at least 14 days from the date of starting quarantine, continue to self-monitor their health at home for the next 14 days. Test for SARS-CoV-2 at least 3 times on the first day; the 7th day and the 14th day.

3. People who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19: Conduct centralized isolation for at least 14 days from the date of isolation. Continue to monitor health at home or at the place of residence for the next 14 days (from the date of the Decision to complete centralized isolation), do not gather in large groups, strictly follow the 5K. Test for SARS-CoV-2 at least 3 times on the first day, the 7th day and the 13th day of centralized isolation. Take a rapid antigen test sample on the 13th day from the date of health monitoring at home or at the place of residence.

Regulations on quarantine and testing of people coming to/returning to work and stay in Nghe An province:

1. For people traveling from very high-risk areas (level 4) or regional medical isolation (lockdown) (before moving, perform RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test within 72 hours from the time of sample collection):

- People who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have recovered from COVID-19: Self-monitor their health at home or at their place of residence for 07 days from the date of return to their locality. Perform a rapid antigen test on the first and seventh days from the date of return to their locality.

- People who have not received enough doses of COVID-19 vaccine: Isolate at home or at their place of residence for at least 07 days from the date of return to their locality; continue to self-monitor their health for 07 days. Perform rapid antigen testing on the first and seventh days from the date of return to their locality.

- People who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19: Isolate at home for 14 days from the date of quarantine, continue to self-monitor health for 14 days. Test for SARS-CoV-2 three times on the first day, the 7th day and the 14th day.

2. People traveling from high-risk areas (level 3) (People are encouraged to self-screen upon returning to their locality).

- People who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have recovered from COVID-19: Self-monitor your health for 07 days. Immediately notify local health authorities if you experience symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, or loss of taste or smell.

- People who have not been vaccinated or have not received enough doses of COVID-19 vaccine: Self-monitor your health at home or at your place of residence for 7 days from the date of arrival/return to your locality. Implement the 5K Message. Perform a rapid antigen test on the 7th day. Immediately notify the local health authority if you experience symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, or loss of taste or smell.

3. People traveling from risk areas (level 2) and new normal areas (level 1): Make mandatory health declarations, follow the 5k Message, and self-monitor their health for 07 days from the date of arrival/return to the locality (Encourage people to self-test upon returning to the locality).

4. Participants in the working group (according to the decision of competent authorities in provinces and cities) traveling from very high-risk areas (level 4) or regional medical isolation (blockade) (except for F1 or F2 cases)

- People who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have recovered from COVID-19: Self-monitor health for 07 days, follow the 5K Message, especially wear a mask, do not gather and do not go to crowded places. Perform SARS-CoV-2 test using RT-PCR method 02 times on the first day and the 07th day from the date of arrival/return to the locality.

- People who have not been vaccinated or have not received enough doses of COVID-19 vaccine: Quarantine at home or at their place of residence for 03 days from the date of arrival/return to the locality according to regulations. Continue to self-monitor your health until the end of 14 days from the date of arrival/return to the locality, always follow the 5K message, especially wearing a mask, not gathering and not going to crowded places. Conduct SARS-CoV-2 test 02 times on the first day and the third day from the date of quarantine at home or at their place of residence (RT-PCR testing is recommended).

* Command Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An provinceadditional notes: For cases coming to/returning from very high-risk areas (level 4), high-risk areas (level 3), mandatory health declaration is required at the commune/ward/town health station before returning home or place of residence.

Requirements for quarantine at the place of residence for subjects are implemented according to Decision No. 4583/QD-UBND dated November 29, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee; In case the place of residence does not meet the conditions, the quarantined person must carry out centralized quarantine at a hotel or at another centralized quarantine facility according to the corresponding quarantine period for each subject stated in the instructions. Local authorities are responsible for arranging centralized quarantine locations for citizens, ensuring requirements and regulations on epidemic prevention. The quarantine period and testing frequency are applied as prescribed for home quarantine and place of residence for each quarantined subject.
