Nghe An welcomes international guests to explore cooperation and investment

On the afternoon of February 22, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa received a delegation from South Gobi Province, Mongolia, led by Deputy Governor Batbold Khorloo, who came to visit and explore cooperation opportunities with Nghe An Province. Attending the meeting were representatives from a number of provincial departments, agencies and branches.

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa expressed his joy to welcome the delegation of South Gobi province - the first international delegation of Nghe An province in the new year of Mau Tuat 2018. This is a good signal, laying the foundation for the cooperative relationship with the two provinces of Nghe An - South Gobi.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee introduced to the delegation some basic geographical features, potentials and advantages of Nghe An province that the delegation wanted to learn about. Regarding the field of investment promotion, Nghe An province has been planned by the Government for a number of industrial zones and clusters with synchronous basic infrastructure, a complete transportation system and has been gradually filled with domestic and foreign investment projects.

Thanking the warm welcome of the leaders of Nghe An province, Mr. Batbold Khorloo, Deputy Governor of South Gobi Province, Mongolia informed Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa about some aspects of the economic and social situation of South Gobi province.

Accordingly, South Gobi province has an area of ​​165,000 km²With a population of over 62 thousand people, bordering China in the South, the province has strengths in livestock farming, with over 2.1 million cattle. In addition, the province also has strengths in mining and gold mining.

Deputy Governor of Mongolia's South Gobi Province Batbold Khorloo hopes that Nghe An Province will create favorable conditions for businesses in South Gobi Province to explore a number of fields, such as mining, livestock processing, and tourism; and also suggested that the two provinces establish a twinning relationship in the future.

In particular, the Deputy Governor of South Gobi Province, Mongolia also hopes that the two sides will cooperate in the field of education so that students from South Gobi Province can study in Nghe An Province.

Highly appreciating the socio-economic development results achieved by South Gobi province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa affirmed that the proposals on studying and cooperating economically between South Gobi province and Nghe An province are very suitable with the current general development trend; especiallyThe areas and strengths that both sides need to focus on to promote cooperation include education, tourism, mining and food processing from livestock.

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa, Nghe An has 3/4 of its mountainous area similar to Mongolia. This is a similarity in tourism exploitation for both sides to explore opportunities for cooperation and investment promotion.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa affirmed that through this working trip, the leaders of Nghe An province will assign the provincial departments and branches to connect with the Nghe An business community, explore cooperation opportunities, and promote investment with the South Gobi province in various fields.

The leaders of the two provinces agreed to assign the Nghe An Department of Foreign Affairs and the South Gobi Provincial Government Office as the central focal point to connect information between the two sides as quickly as possible.
