Nghe An: Prosecution of a subject in the case of human trafficking to China
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 8, the Investigation Police Agency (Ky Son District Police) announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute the case, indicting the accused Cut Thi Hanh, also known as Cut Me Hai, born in 1977, residing in Don Bong village, Na Loi commune, Ky Son for the crime of human trafficking.
According to the investigation of Ky Son District Police, Cut Thi Hanh is an important link in a case of human trafficking to China.

Specifically, in 2016, Hanh introduced and rented a motorbike to take Ms. Moong Thi Xieng, born in 1994, in Huoi Cang 1 village, Bac Ly commune, Ky Son, to the central intersection of Huoi Tu commune, Ky Son, and assigned Cut Van Hue, residing in Huoi Nhuc village (Pha Danh commune) to directly take Ms. Xieng to China to sell.
After completing the transaction with a commission of 31 million VND, Hanh received 20 million VND from Hue, Hue took 11 million VND. In early December 2018, Moong Thi Xieng escaped and after returning home, she wrote a complaint about the illegal acts of the subjects.
Currently, Ky Son District Police have issued a decision to prosecute the defendant Cut Thi Hanh for the crime of "Human trafficking" under Clause 2, Article 199 of the Penal Code.
Previously, the police agency of Ky Son district also initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and detained Cut Van Hue - Hanh's accomplice for human trafficking./.
