Nghe An launches the 6th Children's Fine Arts Award in 2024
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 22, at Truong Thi Secondary School (Vinh city), the Department of Culture and Sports held the Launching Ceremony of the 6th Nghe An Provincial Children's Fine Arts Award in 2024.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of leaders of a number of departments, agencies and branches, along with officials, teachers and students of Truong Thi Secondary School.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Tran Thi My Hanh said: The Children's Fine Arts Award is a useful playground that meets the needs of discovery and creativity, attracting the attention of primary and secondary school students throughout the province.

With the aim of contributing to the development of comprehensive education, the award helps students have the opportunity to exchange and learn experiences and develop their painting skills, encourage and create conditions for the development of fine arts activities inside and outside of school, thereby educating the aesthetic of the young generation, discovering talents to train and develop them to the values of truth - goodness - beauty.

The success of the Children's Fine Arts Award over the past 5 times (2014, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022) has left many deep impressions in the hearts of all students. Up to now, the award has become an annual activity attracting a large number of students throughout the province to participate.

The closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the 2024 Nghe An Provincial Children's Fine Arts Awards is expected to take place in October 2024. Through the award results, the Organizing Committee will select the winning paintings to participate in the annual National Children's Fine Arts Awards organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Some contents of the Regulations of the 6th Nghe An Provincial Children's Fine Arts Award in 2024
1. Participants:Children from 6 years old to under 16 years old (according to Birth Certificate at the time of receiving the painting) living in Nghe An province.
2. Topic:
- Introduce the beautiful scenery of the homeland and love for the country through topics: landscape, daily life, tourism, sea and islands...
- Expressing children's feelings for beloved Uncle Ho through topics: portrait, activities, study.
- Topics on environmental protection, overcoming marine environmental incidents, building new rural areas, traffic safety, aspirations for peace, family life.
- Topic of preventing violence and child abuse.
- Gratitude to families of war invalids and martyrs, families with revolutionary contributions; military-civilian relations.
* Note: The content of the drawing must be related to the space and cultural identity of the region where the children live.
3. Form of expression:
- Size: 30 x 40 cm (A3 paper size), picture is not bordered.
- Materials: Drawing with colors (watercolor, gouache, wax, pastel, torn paper, collage...).
4. Prizes:
* Collective award: Awarded to units with winning paintings and many quality paintings selected by the Jury for round 2, specifically:
- 02 First Prizes: 2,000,000 VND/prize;
- 04 Second Prizes: 1,500,000 VND/prize;
- 06 Third Prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize.
* Individual prize: Includes 02 prize groups for 02 age groups.
- Group from 6 to 11 years old (Primary school).
- Group from 12 years old to under 16 years old (Middle school)
Number of prizes, prize levels for 02 prize groups, specifically as follows:
- 02 First prizes: 5,400,000 VND/prize, with Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, bonus for the winning individuals.
- 04 Second prizes: 3,600,000 VND/prize, with Certificate and bonus for the winning individuals.
- 10 Third prizes: 1,800,000 VND/prize, with Certificate and bonus for the winning individuals.
- The winning and exhibited paintings are sent by the Organizing Committee to participate in the Vietnam Children's Fine Arts Award organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
5. Time to receive paintings:Starting from September 3, 2024 and ending at 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2024, remote units will base on the postmark.
6. Place to receive paintings:Send by post or submit directly to the address:

+ Or submit to: Department of Education and Training of districts, cities, towns (then collect and send to Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center).
