Nghe An will connect to consume Ha Giang orange products
(Baonghean.vn) - Working with Ha Giang province, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh said that Nghe An province can cooperate in consuming pomelos and other products.
On the afternoon of September 24, the People's Committee of Nghe An province worked with the People's Committee of Ha Giang province on connecting the consumption of Ha Giang oranges in the Nghe An market. At the meeting, the two localities introduced information aboutcitrus productsin the area, while promoting the advantages of the orange product consumption market.
For Nghe An, by early 2020, the whole province had 5,525 hectares of oranges, of which the orange area for products was 3,443 hectares; annual output reached over 54 thousand tons of fruit.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province, Ha Giang province currently has an area of over 6,849 hectares of oranges, of which the harvested area is over 5,495 hectares; the annual output of oranges is over 63 thousand tons, and was granted geographical indication by the Department of Intellectual Property - Ministry of Science and Technology in 2016.
Orange is one of the specialties of Ha Giang.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Ha Thi Minh Hanh - Vice Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee hoped that Nghe An province would pay attention to and help consume local orange products in the 2020 - 2021 crop year, with an expected output of about 5,000 tons, through the following activities: Coordination, support, connection, consumption, promotionpromote agricultural productsbearing geographical indications and collective trademarks of Ha Giang province in Nghe An province market and vice versa.
