Nghe An approves plan to allocate nearly 1,380 billion VND from the central budget to build new rural areas
(Baonghean.vn) - According to Decision 625/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, in the period of 2021-2025, Nghe An is allocated 1,379 billion 680 million VND to implement the National Target Program on new rural construction from the development investment capital source of the Central Budget.
This capital was allocated by Nghe An province for 989 projects; of which 264 billion 591 million VND was allocated to implement 179 transitional projects; 1,109 billion 115 million VND was allocated to start 800 new projects; the remaining 5 billion 974 million VND was allocated to repay debts for 10 projects.

According to the plan, in 2022, Nghe An will allocate 497 billion 470 million VND (including 350 billion 430 million VND in 2021 transferred to 2022) for 623 projects under the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.
Of which, 102 billion 432 million VND is allocated to continue implementing 142 transitional projects; 391 billion 345 million VND is allocated to implement 473 new projects; and 3 billion 693 million VND is allocated to repay debts for 8 projects.
The 18th Nghe An Provincial People's Council approved the development investment capital plan from the Central Budget to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the 2021-2025 period and 2022 at the recent 9th Session.
It is known that in the first 9 months of the year, the Prime Minister issued a Decision recognizing Hoang Mai town as completing the task of building new rural areas, and Quynh Luu district as meeting new rural standards.
The whole province has 299/411 communes meeting new rural standards, accounting for 72.74%; 20 communes meeting advanced new rural standards; 2 communes meeting model new rural standards; the average number of criteria is 16.85 criteria/commune; 7 district-level units have completed their tasks and met new rural standards; 184 villages/hamlets have met new rural standards according to the province's criteria.
Nghe An also continues to strongly implement the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program; to date, the whole province has 249 OCOP products meeting 3-star standards or higher./.
