Nghe An: Highlights on January 1
(Baonghean.vn) - The Prime Minister issued the order to start construction of 12 North-South expressway projects; Nghe Tinh Port started production in early 2023; "Warm Tet - Loving Spring" program in Cham Puong village, Luong Minh commune (Tuong Duong)... are the highlights of the first day of the new year 2023.
*Morning of January 1 - the first day of the new year 2023,Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attends the groundbreaking ceremony of 12 projectscomponents of the North-South Expressway Phase 2 and launched the month of emulation for the peak disbursement of public investment capital. 12 projects with a total length of 729 km, design speed of 100 - 120 km/h, passing through 15 provinces and cities (Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Can Tho, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu, Kien Giang, Ca Mau) with a total investment of about 147 trillion VND.

*Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)are "flowing" strongly into Nghe An after a series of "clearing" measures by the province. The unity from awareness to action and the solidarity, companionship, and creation of the most favorable conditions for investors are the "guiding principles" for the province to continue to accelerate, creating a breakthrough in attracting FDI in the coming time.

*At the end of the 12th lunar month, with the biting cold creeping in with the drizzle and north wind,Dan Lai people in Bung and Co Phat villages- The two most remote villages of Mon Son border commune (Con Cuong) have finished harvesting crops and prepared dong leaves, fragrant sticky rice, a few kilos of meat and bundles of dry firewood to wrap and cook banh chung to welcome the new year 2023.
