*Cstory aboutJackfruit tree over 130 years old in Uncle Ho's maternal hometownis the story of Ms. Phan Thi Quy - the staff explaining the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan). The ancient jackfruit tree is considered a witness to the birth cry of the poor boy Nguyen Sinh Cung in a small house in Hoang Tru. In 1961, returning to his maternal hometown for the first time after more than 50 years of wandering to find a way to save the country, President Ho Chi Minh stood hesitantly next to the jackfruit tree, he said: "Is the jackfruit tree of my grandmother still here?" "This tree used to have many segments, the flesh was thin but very sweet".

In February 2020, the old jackfruit tree died, but the special thing was that a new jackfruit tree grew in its place. This caused great emotion for many people.

*SOn the morning of May 10, at the Nghi Loc District Martyrs Cemetery, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province solemnly held a ceremonyMartyrs' burial ceremonyVietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts fought bravely and sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the noble international duty in the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The remains of 57 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos were found during the 2019-2020 dry season and were buried this time.

During the years of resistance against the common enemy of the two countries Vietnam and Laos, with the pure international spirit, there were tens of thousands of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts fighting and sacrificing in Laos. Over the past 30 years, more than 12,000 remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed in Laos have been collected and brought back to Vietnam for burial in martyrs' cemeteries.

*TImplementing Directive No. 35 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Party Congress, on May 10, many Party committees and grassroots Party organizations in Nghe An held congresses for the 2020-2025 term.

Meanwhile, in Minh Chau commune (Dien Chau) took place.First Party Congress,term 2020-2025. Minh Chau commune is a newly established administrative unit on the basis of merging 3 communes: Dien Binh, Dien Minh and Dien Thang. There were 221 outstanding party members, representing 757 party members in the entire party organization attending the first congress after Minh Chau commune was established.

*LRegarding the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, according to information from Nghe An Department of Health, in the area there are820 people are in quarantine, monitoring, an increase of 38 people compared to 1 day ago. Of these, 10 people are quarantined at home, most of them returning from Bac Ninh; 22 people are quarantined at the district level, mainly returning from Laos; 8 people are quarantined at medical facilities.

Accordingly, in early March 2020, through the work of grasping the situation, the Ky Son District Police detectives discovered a drug trafficking ring with a large quantity transported from the locality to the northern provinces for consumption. Notably, the subjects in the ring were mostly from outside the area and had many sophisticated and cunning tricks. At 9:00 p.m. on May 9, the Ky Son District Police working group coordinated with the Nam Can International Border Gate Customs Department and the Chieu Luu Commune Police Department (Ky Son) to arrest 3 subjects, all residing in Nam Dam village, Cao Tan commune, Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province, for the act of illegally transporting drugs. At the scene, 20 kg of crystal meth, 20 heroin bars, 4 kg of ketamine and 4 mobile phones were seized.
