On May 30, a clip posted on the Internet showed a group of young men riding motorbikes in a wedding procession without helmets, weaving in and out of traffic, squeezing cars that were trying to pass, and weaving on National Highway 1A from Dien Chau town to Dien Thinh commune, causing public outrage.

Immediately afterwards, Dien Chau District Police began to verify and after only 1 day, summoned 9 subjects including: Cao Van Hau (born 1992), Le Gia Phuoc (born 1994), Cao Duc Nghia (born 1999), Nguyen Tat Chung (born 1994), all residing in Dien Thinh commune; Le Van Dung (born 1995), Phan Kim Son (born 1995), all residing in Dien Hoa commune; Tran Quoc Thuan (born 1995), Tran Quoc Hoi (born 1995), residing in Dien Tan commune and Vu Dinh Cao (born 1999), residing in Dien Thanh commune.

At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed to their actions. Based on the provisions of the Road Traffic Law, these subjects were fined a total of nearly 36 million VND for the violations of driving without a driver's license, driving and carrying a passenger without wearing a helmet, carrying more people than the prescribed number, weaving, swerving, and driving in a group causing traffic obstruction...

In addition, four subjects including Cao Van Hau, Tran Quoc Thuan, Tran Quoc Hoi and Cao Duc Nghia will have their driving licenses revoked for 3 months for the offense of swerving and weaving./.
