Nghe An handles 976 criminals and law violators related to Covid-19 prevention and control

According to statistics compiled by Nghe An Provincial Police, from January 1, 2020 to the morning of April 15, 2020, local authorities detected and handled 976 criminals and violators of laws related to Covid-19 prevention and control.

Handling administrative violations, warnings, reminders:974 subjects, including: 13 cases of violating regulations in the production and trading of masks (11 business establishments increased the selling price of medical masks; 01 case of trading and transporting masks of unknown origin; 01 business establishment produced and processed masks without business registration).

56 cases of posting, commenting, and sharing false information on social networksi on the Covid-19 epidemic situation and the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control work of functional forces.764 cases of not wearing masks when going to public places (mainly fined from April 1, 2020 to present). 07Subjects who threw away masks in public places. 03 cases of violating medical quarantine regulations (02 cases of leaving home while under home quarantine; 01 case of supplying alcohol to the quarantine area).

71 cases of violations of regulations on temporary suspension of business activitiesfor non-essential businesses.60 cases of mass gatherings outside the permitted area; leaving the house when not really necessary.

In addition, through the task of ensuring security and order at quarantine points, on April 7, 2020, Nghe An Police discovered and arrested 01 case, 01 subject who was a person in centralized quarantine for illegally storing drugs, seized 96 MTTH pills at the centralized quarantine point of Nghe An Pedagogical College, Hung Loc commune, Vinh city.

Currently, the Provincial Police continue to direct the Police of districts, cities and towns to ensure security and order at concentrated quarantine points; at the same time, strengthen armed patrols, prevent crimes and violations of the law, violations of regulations on prevention and control of the CoVid-19 epidemic, especially violations of Directive No. 16 of the Prime Minister.
