Nghe An: Fined 15 million VND for woman returning from Hai Duong who made false medical declaration

This morning (February 26), the People's Committee of Quy Hop district issued Decision No. 279/QD-UBND to administratively sanction Ms. Ngan Thi Hue (born in 1998), permanent resident of Dong Can hamlet, Dong Hop commune (Quy Hop) with a fine of 15 million VND for intentionally declaring false information about group A infectious diseases.
Accordingly, on January 31, 2021, Ms. Ngan Thi Hue returned to her locality by motorbike from Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province (an epidemic area).Covid-19On the way back, Ms. Hue stopped for 10 minutes in Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province. However, when making a medical declaration, Ms. Hue was dishonest and said that she was returning from Hung Yen province.
After investigating the schedule, on February 18, 2021, Dong Hop Commune People's Committee and Quy Hop District Medical Center asked Ms. Hue to re-declare her health and take samples for testing.Covid-19. Ms. Ngan Thi Hue's Covid-19 test result was negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
On February 19, 2021, the Chairman of Dong Hop Commune People's Committee, based on legal provisions, made a submission requesting the District People's Committee to impose administrative sanctions.
