Nghia Dan: Arrangement of 10 redundant Vice Chairmen of Commune People's Committees

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the Law on Organization of Local Government and Decree No. 08/2016/ND-CP of the Government, Nghia Dan district has arranged and assigned 10 redundant Vice Chairmen of Commune-level People's Committees to take on other positions.

Decree 08/2016/ND-CP and the Law on Organization of Local Government 2015 stipulate that the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns of type 2 and type 3 shall only arrange 1 vice chairman. This change has led to a surplus of people in wards and communes that had previously arranged 2 vice chairmen of the People's Committees of communes according to Decree 107.

The one-stop shop of Nghia Lien commune is spacious, creating favorable conditions for people to come and do administrative procedures.

Nghia Dan district has 25 communes and towns. Currently, the district has 10 communes and towns, each unit has 1 extra position of Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, including the communes: Nghia An, Nghia Duc, Nghia Khanh, Nghia Hung, Nghia Trung, Nghia Hoi, Nghia Lam, Nghia Hong, Nghia Yen and Nghia Dan town.

Accordingly, Nghia Dan district has transferred 9 vice chairmen of the People's Committee to take on positions such as civil status; culture - society; office; land administration and commune militia. The remaining 1 vice chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level is waiting for retirement.

Thus, Nghia Dan district has currently arranged 10/10 redundant vice chairmen of the People's Committee of the commune according to the Law on Organization of Local Government and Decree No. 08/2016/ND-CP of the Government.
