(Baonghean) -Mr. Lo Van Loi in Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town is not only mentioned by the people as an exemplary cadre, a diligent veteran and a typical example of economic development.

In 1982, after 5 years in the army, Lo Van Loi was discharged and returned to his hometown. With the trust of the people, he was elected as a Commune Police to help the locality ensure security and order. Since then, during the 30 years of working in many different positions, he has always fulfilled his duties well.

Mr. Loi and his family's acacia forest

With the spirit of Uncle Ho's soldier, not resigned to poverty, he tried to find ways to develop the family economy. Seeing that his hometown still had a lot of fallow land, he applied for a contract of more than 2 hectares, he and his wife dug the fields, built embankments to grow rice, raised chickens and ducks, and life gradually stabilized. In 1993, when the State had a policy of allocating land and forests to the people, he boldly received 20 hectares of forest land to make a farm, explored, learned from experience, bought many research documents, and served the purpose of afforestation. Hardworking, thrifty, and studying hard, after 3 years, 20 hectares of forest land were covered with green, with lush trees. He borrowed more capital from the bank and from his brothers to invest in livestock farming. Up to now, in his family's barn, there are always 15-20 buffaloes, about 30 goats, 20 bee colonies...

Mr. Loi also invested in raising pigs, raising deer and digging ponds to raise fish... With that short-term approach, his farm economic model has continuously developed and expanded. The total revenue from his farm always reaches over 300 million VND/year. In addition, he also creates jobs for 3 regular workers and dozens of seasonal workers. In 2007, realizing that clean vegetables were attracting the market's attention, he invested in producing more than 2 sao of clean vegetables, after 4 months he earned a profit of over 20 million VND...

In addition to working hard to enrich his family, he also enthusiastically guides villagers in livestock and farming experiences. He enthusiastically helps families who lack capital and production experience.

As an exemplary cadre, a good economist, he is also a lover and passionate about Thai culture. In recent times, Mr. Loi has always been concerned about finding ways to preserve and promote Thai cultural features in daily life. He confided: "The Thai people have a very unique cultural treasure, but it is facing the risk of being lost. In the near future, I intend to collect folk songs, antiphonal songs, worship customs, and folk games of the Thai people into CDs for everyone to watch, as well as to promote and preserve the culture of our people."
