Huu Khuong people built huts, cleared the forest, and opened a road to the village.

(Baonghean.vn) – Huu Khuong (Tuong Duong) is a commune in the Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir area, with a fragmented terrain and difficult transportation. Every year, the local government has to mobilize people to open roads to the villages. This year, the commune focused on opening a route from Con Phen village to Huoi Pung village.

The road from Con Phen village (center of Huu Khuong commune - Tuong Duong) to Huoi Pung village is 7.1km long, the district supported 2km by motor vehicles, the rest mobilized nearly 600 workers from the villages in the commune to do within 5 days. These are truly festive days, the people are excited and eager to open the road.

The road was very difficult to clear, because mechanical machines could not enter, and had to be done by human power. There were sections where there were large rocks and tree roots, and people had to concentrate and do their best to remove the obstacles from the road.

The construction site is far from the village so it is impossible to go back, so people have to set up makeshift shelters to rest at noon and spend the night.

There are sections of the construction site far from water sources, making it difficult to provide enough water for hundreds of people. Therefore, when returning to the camp, everyone goes to the tap to cool off.

The kitchens of the villages are also very simple, but people still try to overcome and complete the project.
