Located about 8 km upstream of Ban Ve Hydropower Plant from the commune center, Huoi Pung is a particularly difficult village of Huu Khuong Commune with 83 households. There is currently no road to the village, people mainly travel by boat in the Ban Ve Hydropower Plant reservoir.

The construction area of ​​Khe Hoc Resettlement Area, Huoi Pung Village, Huu Khuong Commune is 8.07 hectares (permitted by the Provincial People's Committee to survey the site for planning the construction of the resettlement area in Decision No. 2017/QD-UBND dated July 11, 2022) and the District People's Committee approved the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 (in Decision No. 1008/QD-UBND dated November 1, 2022). Accordingly, the following construction items are arranged in the planning area: Residential land, kindergarten land, community cultural house land, traffic land, land for sports and physical training fields, landscape green land, and reserve land.

Inspecting the project site, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed with the district.Xiangyangon land allocation for production for people.

This is an intra-commune resettlement project, so the people's production land is still cultivated on the existing land area in the old village. In the coming time, the district will carry out procedures to grant enough land area according to regulations for people to produce and stabilize their lives in the new place.

Along with that, the resettlement area has now been invested with a 35Kv power system and some 0.4Kv power poles for domestic use. The investor is preparing an environmental impact assessment report and is committed to completing the environmental impact assessment report before the project is implemented.

Regarding the traffic system, there is currently a small road from the center of Huu Khuong commune opened by the people themselves to the resettlement area. The district commits that after the resettlement area is completed, it will invest in the road connecting the resettlement area to the road to the center of Nhon Mai and Mai Son communes using other legal capital sources...

During the day, comrade Nguyen Van De also inspected the current status of cassava cultivation, fish farming in lakes, and some OCOP product production facilities in Tuong Duong district. The inspection of the current status of cassava cultivation was to consider the proposal to convert to pineapple cultivation in Tuong Duong district, because in reality, with more than 2,000 hectares of cassava in the area, after many crops on the same land area, the soil has become infertile, resulting in low productivity.

At the Tuong Duong sticky rice wine cooperative, one of the products in the area that has been certified as an OCOP product, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the district needs to continue to promote trade, promote creative start-up activities, form forums connecting supply and demand, contributing to poverty reduction, job creation, and social security in the area./.
