Always playing a good role in leadership; enthusiastic, responsible, exemplary in emulation movements are the comments of the people in Soi Duoi hamlet when talking about the female Hamlet Chief Truong Thi Vy. The first impression when we met and interacted with this slim woman was her friendliness and closeness. With her enthusiasm and responsibility in work, in 2011 she was elected Vice President of the Women's Union of Tho Hop commune and in 2012 she was trusted by the people to be elected Hamlet Chief of Soi Duoi hamlet until now.

Many movements and activities initiated by Ms. Vy have taken place enthusiastically, not only with the participation of women but also with the participation of many people. A typical example is the movement to build a "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" associated with the construction of new rural areas, which has attracted all households in Soi Duoi hamlet to participate, of which up to 95% of households voluntarily built incinerators, renovated houses, relocated livestock and poultry pens, etc.

Not only being active and completing assigned tasks well, Ms. Vy is also known as a responsible hamlet chief, a role model in all activities, and a positive contributor to local social work. She not only comes to the people as the hamlet chief but also gets close to them with the heart and affection of a Tho ethnic child. When people speak, she listens, when people are sick, she visits them like a relative in her own family. Therefore, every action and word of hers is trusted by the people of Soi Duoi hamlet, all for the sake of the life of the hamlet and the village.

Therefore, every year, the female Hamlet Chief Truong Thi Vy receives companionship, support, and sharing to build the hamlet from relatives, friends, and benefactors. From her advocacy, she has called on people to contribute more than 3 billion VND to build the new rural area with 100% of the hamlet roads being concreted and lit, and to build flower roads for the whole hamlet and the whole commune; the hamlet also pays attention to programs to support policy families and poor households.

Soi Duoi Hamlet currently has 179 households, 768 people, of which 80% are Tho people. By 2019, the whole hamlet had only 5 poor households; the rate of cultural families reached over 95%; for 19 consecutive years, the hamlet held the title of Provincial Cultural Village; the Party Cell was recognized as Clean and Strong for many consecutive years. This result also comes from the dedication, dedicated work, and wholeheartedness with the motto "Words go hand in hand with actions", openness and democracy of the hamlet's Party Committee and Executive Committee. Ms. Vy has advised and directly assigned party members and association members to be in charge of and monitor each family, on the basis of being close, listening and understanding the people to solve difficulties and problems for the people, many complicated problems arising in the lives of residents have also been resolved promptly thanks to that.

Implementing the direction of the Women's Union of Tho Hop commune on building a model of "Skilled mass mobilization" in the activity of "Propaganda, mobilization, and guidance for women members to participate in environmental protection", Ms. Truong Thi Vy proactively advised the Women's Union of the commune to organize propaganda, mobilization, and guidance for all households to collect, classify, and treat household waste; periodically organize a general environmental cleaning campaign every week; participate in planting flowers and taking care of trees on the main road of the commune and the hamlet cultural house...

For more than 14 years of dedication and passion in the association's work, from the role of Head of the Women's Association of Soi Duoi hamlet to Vice President of the Women's Association of Tho Hop commune, Ms. Truong Thi Vy has created trust among members and contributed to the development of the local women's movement. With the total number of women's association members participating in activities reaching 95-98%, every year through evaluation, 92% of member families are awarded the title of Cultural Family; 90% of families meet the criteria of "5 no, 3 clean" families.

As Vice President of the Commune Women's Union and Head of Soi Duoi Hamlet, Ms. Vy is always at the forefront of local movements. She encourages ethnic minorities to obey the law, work hard to develop the economy to improve their living standards, build happy families, take care of their children's education, and preserve the national cultural identity. Many people say she is a person who "eats at home and carries the prison and the village". No matter what position she holds, she always completes all tasks excellently. Ms. Vy herself has been recognized and rewarded many times by all levels and sectors in the province, being a typical example in the work of the association and the women's movement in the locality.

With what she has done and is doing for the locality, Ms. Truong Thi Vy was honored by the Women's Union of Quy Hop district as a typical and advanced individual in the locality. She confided: Without the attention of the local Party Committee, government and the unanimous help of the people, no matter how hard she tried, she could not fulfill her duties. "Uncle Ho taught: "Whatever is beneficial to the people, do your best, whatever is harmful to the people, do your best to avoid", when you put the interests of the people first, no matter how difficult the task is, people will join hands to help" - Ms. Truong Thi Vy said.
