On February 9, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tu - Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee sent a document to wards and communes in the area and Vinh City Police regarding the implementation of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
According to Mr. Tu, in the face of the extremely complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, many provinces and cities across the country have had many infected cases, especially now that the number of citizens from provinces and cities across the country and abroad returning home for Tet is very large. To ensure the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the city according todirection of the Prime Minister, People's Committee of Nghe An province, People's Committee of Vinh cityRequest the People's Committees of wards and communes to continue to organize propaganda, dissemination and strictly implement the directives of the Prime Minister, the Provincial People's Committee and the Vinh City People's Committee on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Wards and communes urgently announce on the grassroots radio system and require all people to wear masks when going out on the street or in public places.
Vinh City People's Committee also requested the City Police and People's Committees of wards and communes to conduct inspections and handle administrative violations according to their authority or submit them to competent authorities for handling cases of failure to strictly implement measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, especially failure to wear masks when going out on the street or in public places.
