Mong families get rich in Na Ngoi
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the policy of converting crop and livestock structure, many households in Na Ngoi commune (Ky Son) have invested in developing family farm and ranch economy, bringing high economic efficiency and sustainable escape from poverty.
Mr. Vu Va Nenh's household, Phu Kha 1 village, Na Ngoi commune, has 5 hectares of land. Previously, they only used slash-and-burn farming to grow corn, so the income was not high. After the policy of converting the structure of crops and livestock, he invested in a farm to raise buffalo and cows. Initially, his family's livestock farming encountered many difficulties due to lack of experience and techniques. Not discouraged, he continued to research and learn how to raise livestock from typical households and learn how to prevent diseases... thanks to the correct application, his family's livestock herd has grown more and more. Up to now, his farm has 13 cows, 7 buffaloes, and more than 1 hectare of rice, earning an annual income of 50 to 60 million VND.

Each year, he sells 3 to 4 buffaloes and cows, earning 130 - 140 million VND.
