PC Nghe An: Successfully energized Dien Phong 110kV transformer station
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 30, 2022, with the authorization of the Northern Power Corporation and Nghe An Power Company (PC Nghe An), the Power Grid Project Management Board successfully organized the acceptance, energized and put into operation the 110kV Dien Phong Transformer Station (E15.52).
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Nghe An Electricity Company, there were Mr. Le Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of the Company and heads and deputy heads of specialized departments of PC Nghe An; Representatives of the leaders of the Power Grid Project Management Board. On behalf of Dien Chau district, there were representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches of the district.

The Dien Phong 110 kV Transformer Station Project is built with a 110 kV line passing through Do Thanh, Yen Thanh district, Dien Hong commune, Dien Phong, Dien Chau district, the transformer station is located in Dien Phong commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An. The project has a total investment of 82 billion VND, invested by the Northern Power Corporation. After completion, it will be handed over to Nghe An Power Company for management and operation.

Construction station with total area of 5,092m2. The station has a full capacity of 2x40MVA. Phase 1 installs 01 40MVA-115/38.5/23kV transformer (with a reserve location to install additional transformers in the future).
110kV equipment is installed outdoors with a planned capacity of 02 40 MVA transformers. The station is built according to the criteria of a remote control substation; Building an information system, SCADA connecting to the Nghe An Remote Control Center, A1 and NPC Data Center according to the criteria of an unmanned station. The 110kV Dien Phong transformer station is built with 10 medium-voltage feeder bays with 6 35kV feeders and 4 22kV feeders. After completion, it will create a loop connection with existing medium-voltage lines to ensure power supply for the load in Dien Chau district and neighboring communes of Yen Thanh and Quynh Luu districts.

Due to the harsh weather conditions of Nghe An province, frequent natural disasters and floods, unfavorable weather conditions have had a direct impact on the overall progress of the project. However, with the high determination of Nghe An Electricity Company, the Power Grid Project Management Board and contractors have strictly controlled the construction time to complete the project on schedule, and put the 110kV Dien Phong transformer station into operation soon to improve the quality of electricity supply to serve the people.
The completion of the 110kV transformer station is of great significance, contributing to the timely supply of electricity to the load of Dien Chau district and neighboring loads. The energization and operation of the station not only improves the quality of electricity for daily life and the quality of electricity supply, but also contributes to the socio-economic development of the district.
Mr. Le Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of PC Nghe An said: "The completion and operation of the 110kV Dien Phong station project will strengthen the grid connection, improve the stability and reliability of power supply, minimize power loss and improve voltage quality for the distribution grid in Dien Chau district in particular and Nghe An province in general. This is the last 110kV station energization project of 2022 in Nghe An province. Basically, the plans to ensure safe, stable and continuous power supply for people and businesses to enjoy spring and welcome the Year of the Cat 2023 are completed".
