Previously, at 9:35 a.m. on October 19, in Thach Giam town, Tuong Duong district, Tuong Duong district police presided over and coordinated with the Drug Police Department of Nghe An province police to successfully crack a case, arresting two subjects Vo Thi Chung (born in 1971), residing in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city and Lau Ba Va (born in 1992), residing in Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district for illegal drug trafficking. The police seized evidence: 1 heroin cake (353 grams), 128 million VND, 5 mobile phones and 1 motorbike.

At the police station, Lau Ba Va confessed to buying the above drugs from across the border according to the "order" of Vo Thi Chung. During the process of delivering the drugs to Chung, the two subjects were discovered and arrested by the agency.
Currently, Tuong Duong District Police are focusing on coordinating to investigate and expand the case.
