Prisoners in Prison No. 3 compete in storytelling based on books

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 28, Prison No. 3, General Department VIII of the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with Nghe An Provincial Library, organized a contest to promote, introduce and tell stories based on books for prisoners in 2017.

The competition included 6 teams from sub-camps and production areas throughout the unit. The teams had to go through 3 rounds: Greeting; propaganda, storytelling from books and talent competition.

Through each round, the prisoners presented and introduced to everyone typical books such as "79 springs of Ho Chi Minh, a series of books about General Vo Nguyen Giap, General Nguyen Chi Thanh and Vo Thi Sau, the person and the legend...".

With careful and elaborate preparation from building the content to introduce the contest team to choosing propaganda content, collecting visual materials to illustrate the contest to make it more rich, with witty, cheerful and sometimes quiet and emotional ways of conveying, the contestants who are prisoners serving sentences at Prison No. 3 have introduced the content and meaning of many valuable books.

Thereby, contributing to orienting prisoners in choosing useful books for themselves in the process of training and cultivating moral qualities, helping them have more faith and determination to soon reform and reintegrate with their families and society.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams that won First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes.
