3 new Covid cases detected in mountainous district of Nghe An

On July 13, through initial screening and examination at the Tuong Duong District Medical Center, 4 cases of citizens in Cham Puong village were found to have symptoms of suspected Covid-19 infection. The Medical Center took samples and sent them to the provincial CDC for PCR testing, the results showed 3 cases were positive for SARS-CoV-2. The three new Covid-19 cases in Tuong Duong district include:

Case 1:Patient MTH, female, born in 1998, is a freelance worker, residing in Cham Puong village, Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong. Patient MTH just gave birth 2.5 months ago. According to initial epidemiological investigation, during the past time she only stayed at home taking care of her young child and did not go anywhere.

During her pregnancy, MTH went to Dr. Thanh's clinic for a check-up (when she was 3 months pregnant) (she doesn't remember the time of the check-up). From noon on April 30, 2021, citizen MTH went to the district health center to check her pregnancy and asked to be hospitalized to give birth. On the morning of May 5, 2021, Ms. MTH was discharged from the hospital by the Reproductive Health Care Department. During her maternity leave to take care of her child, Ms. MTH did not go anywhere, only had contact with her husband and mother. At 12:00 on July 12, 2021, Ms. MTH showed signs of chills, no fever, no cough, no fatigue, no difficulty breathing, and had not taken any medication.

At 11:00 a.m. on July 13, 2021, Ms. MTH, along with her husband and mother-in-law, took her child to the District Health Center for a medical examination. The screening and rapid test results showed that she tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus three times, and the RT-PCR test was positive.

Case 2:Patient CTBN, born in 2021, is the child of Patient MTH. At 11:00 a.m. on July 13, 2021, CTBN was taken by his parents to the District Health Center for examination, had a sample taken for RT-PCR testing and the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Case 3:Patient CTL, female, born in 1979, is the mother-in-law of Patient MTH. During the past time, Patient CTL has only stayed at home, worked on the farm, did not go anywhere and did not come into contact with people returning from the epidemic area. About 3 days ago, the patient had a mild fever, cough, no fatigue, no difficulty breathing and was treated by nurse XVL at Bao Thang Commune Health Station, who prescribed medicine and gave intravenous fluids at home.

At 11:00 a.m. on July 13, 2021, patient CTL went with his son and daughter-in-law to the district health center for examination. Rapid test samples were taken and the results were positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus three times. RT - PCR test results were positive.

As soon as Covid-19 cases appeared, the District Health Center quarantined the 3 citizens at the Infectious Diseases Department of Tuong Duong District Health Center. Disinfectant spraying was carried out in the Emergency Resuscitation area, the Infectious Diseases Department and the patient's residence. Urgently traced F1 and F2 cases, organized quarantine according to regulations. Set up checkpoints to prevent and control Covid-19 in Cham Puong village and Luong Minh commune. The District Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has activated the Covid-19 prevention and control system according to the 4-on-the-spot principle. Put the centralized quarantine area into operation to respond to the quarantine of F1 cases.
