Many cases discovered at Vinh wholesale market after general investigation and tracing

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee,Vinh cityhas directed 25 wards and communes to make a concerted effort to trace people related to Vinh wholesale market. After a day of efforts "going to every alley, knocking on every door", many wards and communes have given preliminary results.

- Nghi Lien Commune: The authorities have screened and counted 2,230 people, of which 2 more cases were found to have visited the wholesale market. The entire Nghi Lien commune has 55 cases related to the wholesale market (53 cases declared in advance), of which 3 cases related to F0 have been quarantined.

- Le Mao Ward: The locality has mobilized cadres, ward officials, ward police and block cadres (from residential group leaders to mass organizations, block cadres...) to conduct a general survey of health declarations for the entire population. Results: 7,375 citizens have declared their health/2,168 households, of which 331 citizens are related to the wholesale market from June 1 to June 25, 2021.

- Quan Bau Ward: The total number of people declared is 3,725, of which 84 people are related to the wholesale market.

- Ben Thuy Ward: Conducted a survey of 5,152 households in a total of 15 blocks, including 12 cases of regular business and labor at the market, and 126 people coming to import goods and buy and sell at the wholesale market.

- Truong Thi Ward: The general investigation and tracing process of the entire ward discovered 564 people related to the wholesale market, including 154 people who went directly to the market to buy and sell, and 410 people who were acquaintances or had contact with the above people.

- Cua Nam Ward: The total number of people involved in the wholesale market is 621, including 50 people who regularly do business and trade at the market, 6 people who import goods from the market, 26 cases of buying goods from the wholesale market to sell elsewhere and 539 people who come to the market to buy goods for personal use.

Currently, statistics on people related to wholesale markets of all 25 wards and communes are being continued to be compiled by Vinh City authorities.
