Approval of the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan for the Southwest Urban Area of ​​Vinh City

According to the plan,Urban areaSouthwest of Vinh City is an ecological urban area, a service center combined with a water landscape area in the Southwest of Vinh City, invested in modern construction, synchronous in architecture, technical infrastructure, social infrastructure towards sustainable development and environmental protection.

The total area of ​​the planned land is 490.01 ha. Of which, the area of ​​Hung Thinh commune is about 383.94 ha, Hung My commune is about 86.05 ha, Hung Phuc commune is about 20.02 ha. The current population in the planning area is 3,970 people. It is forecasted that the planning area after its formation will have a population of about 32,134 people.

The entire planning area is divided into 5 sub-areas, connected through the main traffic axis of the planning area, 35m and 24m wide.

Specifically: Sub-area No. I is located to the Northwest of the planning area, along National Highway 1A to avoidVinh city, 8B road axis, in the communes: Hung Thinh, Hung My. It is a newly built area, mainly planning functional areas: Low-rise housing, social housing, public works, mixed-use works, International University, International Inter-level School and high-tech aquaculture project; trees - water surface, physical education, sports. Total land area is about 113.3 hectares.

Sub-area No. 2 is located to the southwest of the area.planning, along Highway 8B and Hoang Cau River, in the communes of Hung Thinh, Hung My, Hung Phuc. It is a newly built area, mainly planning functional areas: low-rise housing, public works and residential green spaces, small commercial and service works, primary schools, secondary schools and cemeteries. The total land area is about 104.0 hectares.

Sub-area No. 3 is located to the north of the planning area, along National Highway 1A avoiding Vinh City, in Hung Thinh Commune. It is a renovated and refurbished area, mainly planning functional areas: low-rise housing, public works, schools, trees, commercial and service works, international hospitals, mixed-use works. The total land area is about 71.8 hectares.

Sub-area No. 4 is located to the northeast of the planning area, along National Highway 1A avoiding Vinh city, in Hung Thinh commune. It is a renovated and refurbished area, mainly planning functional areas: low-rise housing, public works, commercial and service works, mixed-use works, riverside entertainment and resort works, trees and cemeteries. Total area is about 85.5 hectares.

Sub-area No. 5 is located to the South and East of the planning area, along the Hoang Cau River and Cau Gay River in Hung Thinh Commune. It is a renovated and refurbished area, mainly planning functional areas: low-rise housing, public works, schools, mixed-use works, trade, services, wholesale markets... Total land area is about 115.5 hectares.
