List of the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Quy Hop District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025

(Baonghean.vn) - The first meeting of the Quy Hop District Party Executive Committee, term 2020-2025, elected 11 comrades to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for the new term. Comrade Phan Dinh Dat was re-elected as Secretary of the District Party Committee.

Outstanding results

In the 2015 - 2020 term, Quy Hop's economy grew quite well, reaching an average of 7.4%; the economic structure shifted towards gradually increasing the value of industry, basic construction and commercial services. Budget revenue in 2020 is estimated at 163 billion VND, ranking 4th in the province (excluding land auction fees). Investment attraction and resource mobilization achieved many positive results. Total social investment capital in the 2016 - 2020 period is estimated at 7,262 billion VND, 2.4 times higher than in the 2011 - 2015 period.

Although it is a mountainous district with 14 extremely difficult communes, thanks to the efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people of the district, by June 2020, Quy Hop had 6 communes and 14 hamlets and villages meeting new rural standards. In 2020, the average production value per capita was estimated at 81 million VND; the average income per capita was about 30 million VND. The poverty rate decreased to 10.22%.

Education and training continue to develop, becoming one of the districts with high achievements. Health care for the people is improved. National defense is ensured; political security and social order and safety are maintained. The political system is consolidated, contributing to the completion of the set goals and tasks.

Promote the development and promotion of national cultural identity

In addition to the achieved results, the draft Political Report submitted to the Congress and many comments at the Congress also analyzed and clarified the shortcomings and limitations and discussed solutions for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building the political system in the district in the new period.

Entering the 2020 - 2025 term, the Quy Hop District Party Committee set out the general goals: Continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, build a comprehensively strong political system; promote the strength of great national unity; effectively exploit potentials and advantages; focus on investing in upgrading the infrastructure system; pay due attention to social security work; maintain national defense and security; constantly improve the material and spiritual life of the people, especially ethnic minorities in remote and isolated areas.

The District Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term aims to build Quy Hop to become increasingly rich, civilized, and imbued with national cultural identity.

At the Congress, many enthusiastic opinions contributed to the draft Political Report, proposing solutions to promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security, and build a strong political system for Quy Hop to develop in the new period.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee, government, organizations and people of Quy Hop district in the past time. He also analyzed and pointed out the shortcomings and limitations that the Quy Hop district Party Committee needs to overcome, and have practical solutions to promote socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security in the area.

On that basis, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the District Party Committee, for the 2020-2025 term, to strengthen Party building and political system building; attach importance to Party building in terms of ideology and ethics; ensure unity, solidarity and consensus from top to bottom. Promote administrative reform along with planning, training, fostering and arranging qualified and capable cadres to meet increasingly high task requirements. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations at all levels, especially at the grassroots level.

At the same time, focus on the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline. Pay attention to Party development in the business sector in the area. Continue to effectively implement Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (12th term) in conjunction with the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. The activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations must be substantive, contributing to the work of Party building, nurturing the young generation, implementing democracy, developing the economy and taking care of people's lives.

The Congress elected the 21st District Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 37 comrades.

The Congress held a vote of confidence to introduce the 21st District Party Executive Committee, electing comrade Phan Dinh Dat - Secretary of the District Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Quy Hop District Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term. The delegates also elected a delegation to attend the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, including 14 official comrades and 1 alternate comrade.
