Talking with officers and soldiers of the District Military Command, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu said that in 2022, despite the very difficult context, with the efforts of the Party Committee and government, especially the support and response of the people and businesses, our province has basically completed the targets set for 2022.

The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated at 9.08%. The state budget revenue is estimated at VND 20,370 billion. Notably, in 2022, Nghe An will be among the top 10 localities attracting the largest FDI in the country for the first time. National defense and security continue to be firmly consolidated, social order and safety are ensured. Party building work continues to receive attention and care, achieving many results.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu emphasized that in achieving such results, the military and police forces of the entire province have played a very important role in maintaining national defense and security, creating stability for socio-economic development, and actively participating in helping people overcome, prevent and combat natural disasters, especially during the flood caused by storm No. 4 in October, demonstrating the deep affection between the military and the people. This year, the provincial military forces have also advised the province to organize exercises in defense areas and civil defense with good results, which have been highly appreciated by Military Region 4.

Reviewing some outstanding results of the province in general, as well as military and defense work in particular, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu acknowledged the contributions of the Nghia Dan District Military Command to those common achievements; sent congratulations to officers and soldiers on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2022), the 33rd anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2022); at the same time expressed his belief that the district military force will successfully complete the tasks in 2023, continuing to be worthy of the trust of the People and the Party for Uncle Ho's soldiers.

Reporting to the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the working delegation, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Song Tung - Commander of the Nghia Dan District Military Command said that the unit is currently examining and recruiting for military service in 2023, accordingly, 152 citizens will be recruited for military service (138 for military service, 14 for public security service); at the same time, it will make every effort to excellently complete the task, focusing on advising the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Nghia Dan District to well organize the 2023 district defense area exercise.
