In the last half term, the Party Executive Committee of Do Luong district has closely followed the targets and resolutions to direct the implementation with a positive spirit, with many synchronous measures and achieved important results in all fields. The average annual economic growth rate is over 11%. The economic structure has shifted positively, the appearance of rural and urban areas has improved a lot. Currently, the whole district has achieved 512 criteria, an increase of 129 criteria compared to 2015, 12/23 communes and towns have achieved new rural areas. In the last half term, Do Luong district has focused on attracting many large projects to create jobs for nearly 10,000 workers.

The Do Luong District Party Committee has stepped up the dissemination of Resolutions, seriously implemented the review of Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee on strengthening Party building and rectification. Conducted a review and supplement of the cadre planning, effectively maintained the model of secretary concurrently serving as hamlet chief and block chief. Implemented the rotation of cadres of departments, branches and communes and towns. Strengthened the inspection and supervision of Party discipline and handled Party members who violated discipline after inspection. Focused on resolving petitions, complaints and denunciations.

In addition, the delegates attending the conference also listened to reports and discussed some existing problems to propose solutions and measures to overcome them: Economic development is not commensurate with potential, there has not been a breakthrough in agricultural production; the implementation of population and family planning policies, the management of private medical and pharmaceutical practices are still inadequate, and social order and safety are still potentially complicated.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong highly appreciated the achievements of Do Luong district in the past half term in all fields, and at the same time clearly stated the basic tasks from now to 2020, which are: Focus on innovating production relations, using high technology in economic development, creating a favorable environment for attracting investment, promoting potential advantages among the people. Pay attention to improving the quality of new rural construction criteria to ensure substance and bring efficiency to the people. Focus on building a strong and comprehensive political system to complete the set goals.
