(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 12, the provincial People's Council delegates elected in the Con Cuong district constituency held a meeting with voters in Bong Khe commune.

Attending the meeting with voters were Mr. Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vi Van Son - Chairman of the District People's Committee; Ms. Vi Thi Xuyen - Secretary of the Chi Khe Commune Youth Union. Also attending were representatives of the District Party Committee, People's Committee, District Fatherland Front Committee and a large number of voters of Bong Khe commune.

At the meeting, voters of Con Cuong district listened to delegates of the Provincial and District People's Councils report on the results of the first session, and expected content and agenda of the second session.

Focusing on issues that voters pay special attention to such as: Leadership positions of the Provincial People's Council, leadership of the People's Council's committees...; directions for implementing socio-economic development tasks of the province.

Announce the expected content of the People's Council at the 2nd session such as: Reviewing 19 periodic reports, socio-economic situation, budget implementation, implementation results report, resolving recommendations of the People's Council in the first 6 months of the term...; passing People's Council resolutions such as Resolution on land conversion, resolution on tuition fee collection levels, tuition fee exemption and reduction; resolution on health insurance support levels for near-poor households in the province...

After listening to the reports of the People's Council delegates at all levels, voters of Con Cuong district expressed their excitement with the contents of the reports. In addition, they expressed many opinions and recommendations on issues related to people's lives such as: Solving the issue of granting land use right certificates to people; promptly handing over the forestry farm's land to the district for management so that the district can allocate land and forests to people for cultivation.

Voters also suggested attracting talents, paying attention to job creation for students after graduation; completely solving the problem of environmental pollution at Tay Nam General Hospital, rural environment; building roads to regional hospitals, suspension bridges across Lam River; implementing the belt road in the planning of Tra Lan Town through Bong Khe Commune; the problem of unsafe clean water...

Voter Hoang Manh Hung, Lien Tan village, requested to clarify the responsibility of leaders in the construction of basic works, because currently in the district there are many construction works that are not really effective, such as stadiums, markets... causing great waste to the state budget. Voters requested that the People's Council should have specific sanctions to create trust for the people.

Mr. Phan Dang Linh, a voter in village 2/9, proposed that support and early investment in internal field roads should be provided to facilitate people's travel and production.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegates, Mr. Nguyen Van Thong received and explained specifically and enthusiastically the opinions and recommendations of voters of Bong Khe commune.

Regarding the opinions of voter Hoan Manh Hung and many voters participating in the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Thong said that in the coming time, sectors at all levels need to conduct inspections to comprehensively evaluate construction works, find out the causes, and thoroughly resolve voters' opinions; if there are any violations, they must be thoroughly resolved.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thong explained the opinions and recommendations of voters and affirmed that "no barriers will be erected to protect wrongdoings".
