According to the screening results, from April 27 to 10:00 a.m. on August 24, Thanh Chuong district had 6,778 citizens returning from epidemic areas in the country. Currently, the district has 13 positive cases and 1 re-positive case. All of these positive cases were detected in quarantine areas.

The district is quarantining 456 people in centralized quarantine and 2,403 people at home. To ensure effective epidemic prevention and control, especially to avoid cross-infection and spread to the community, the District Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control has assigned localities to proactively develop epidemic prevention and control plans, strengthen strict management of quarantine areas and people quarantined at home. The district has established 6 quarantine checkpoints, tracing teams, community Covid-19 teams, etc.

Comrades in the District Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control must strengthen inspection and strictly handle violators of disease prevention and control work, as well as implement Directive 16; assign to localities that if any locality allows an outbreak, the head of that locality must take full responsibility.

After listening to the Thanh Chuong District Steering Committee report on the epidemic situation as well as epidemic prevention and control measures in the area, comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh highly appreciated the initiative of Thanh Chuong District in epidemic prevention and control. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the district would need to grasp the directive documents of the Central and the province to give timely instructions. Strengthen propaganda work so that people understand, know and comply with epidemic prevention and control work well. Pay attention to the organization and implementation of the Steering Committee in localities; decentralize and delegate specific and clear powers to communes for implementation.

Testing work must be flexible, coordinating with neighboring localities such as Nam Dan and Do Luong to effectively carry out epidemic prevention work; Regularly monitor the situation and report to the Provincial Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control. Strictly manage quarantine areas, exchanges and trading in markets. Along with that, there are solutions to coordinate with garment factories to both ensure epidemic prevention and control for local workers and ensure production; pay attention to poor and disadvantaged households, and prevent hunger from occurring.
