(Baonghean.vn) - On February 25, the working delegation of Nghe An province led by comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee came to congratulate the medical staff of Nghia Dan District Medical Center, Nghia Thang Commune Medical Station, Nghe An Provincial Oriental Medicine Association on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2019).
In 2018, Nghia Dan District Medical Center successfully completed the assigned tasks, specifically: Doing a good job of prevention, not allowing major epidemics to occur in the area; fully implementing health target programs; actively developing technical expertise and training human resources... During the year, the unit examined and treated 51,200 patients.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, comrade Le Minh Thong sent wishes of health, happiness, and successful completion of all tasks to all officers and employees of Nghia Dan District Medical Center; acknowledged and commended the efforts of medical officers and employees in caring for, protecting, and improving the health of local people.
Comrade Le Minh Thong expressed his wish: Nghia Dan District Medical Center will continuously develop; increase investment in facilities, equipment as well as line management activities to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment at the commune level, creating favorable conditions for people to receive health care right at the facility.

Visiting and presenting flowers and gifts to congratulate medical staff at Nghia Thang Commune Health Station (Nghia Dan District), the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his joy at seeing the station's spacious, clean and fully equipped with essential medical equipment.
Talking with the medical staff of the Commune Health Station, comrade Le Minh Thong stated: Nghia Thang is still a poor commune, the people's lives still face many difficulties. Each medical staff needs to promote the spirit of "A good doctor is like a mother" to love and help the people more.
Love and support are shown in the fact that each medical staff must constantly improve their qualifications and capacity, innovate their service style and attitude, do a good job of primary health care, manage the health of the whole population and pay special attention to controlling non-communicable diseases.

Congratulating the doctors at the Nghe An Provincial Oriental Medicine Association, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong acknowledged the Association's efforts in developing the organization, performing well in medical examination and treatment, epidemic prevention and humanitarian activities.
