Comrade Tran Dinh Hau, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Thai Hoa Town, said: With a large amount of work, while the structure of the apparatus has only 5 people, it requires each officer and specialist in the department to be extremely dedicated and make efforts in their work. Every year, in addition to proactively coordinating with specialized departments to develop training plans for commune and ward cadres, the department has done a good job of cadre work, advising and arranging commune and town cadres reasonably, ensuring quality. Thanks to that, in recent times, the direction and operation of the People's Committees of wards and communes have become increasingly effective, and the quality of service to the people has been increasingly improved.

In 2014, the department proactively reviewed and promptly resolved policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants and public employees, ensuring all benefits according to state regulations, creating confidence, excitement and peace of mind for cadres, civil servants and public employees in their work. Specifically, for administrative agencies, salaries and seniority allowances were increased beyond the framework for 19 cadres and civil servants of the Town People's Committee. For communes and wards, salary grades and ranks were changed for 7 commune and ward civil servants. For public service units, salaries and seniority allowances were increased beyond the framework for 229 cadres and teachers in the education sector and public service units; and salaries were increased ahead of schedule for 22 cadres, civil servants and public employees in the education sector and public service units under the Town People's Committee...

The emulation and reward work in 2014 had a significant change from the issuance of documents and instructions on emulation work; promptly commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements. Since the beginning of 2014, the department has proactively advised the Town People's Committee to issue the annual administrative reform plan; coordinated with departments and units based on the Town's administrative reform plan to develop their own action plans in conjunction with professional activities, proactively and actively resolved work according to the decentralization of each sector and assigned field, gradually improved working methods, strengthened control of administrative procedures, ensuring that the issued administrative procedures are of good quality and closely related to the town's situation.

In particular, implementing Directive 10/2013/CT-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee and Directive 17-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee, the Town's Department of Internal Affairs advised the Town's People's Committee to establish an interdisciplinary inspection and supervision team on the implementation of discipline and administrative discipline in the area and issued documents to rectify discipline and administrative discipline in the Town's People's Committee and its affiliated public service units. Thereby, the inspection team conducted surprise inspections of the implementation of discipline and administrative discipline in 10 communes and wards.
