In the action program, candidates for the 15th National Assembly and the 18th Provincial People's Council affirmed that they will always perform well the duties and responsibilities of elected representatives, and at the same time emphasized the key priorities if elected.

Presenting the action program, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said that he had visited Western Nghe An many times to conduct surveys, contributing to the formation of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030.

Therefore, Party Central Committee Secretary Do Van Chien said that one of the key priorities is the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period, in which Nghe An province has 11 western districts with about 1 million people benefiting from this Program.

Citing the book Nghe An Ky by the Imperial Doctor Bui Duong Lich (1757 - 1828) who wrote "Thanh Chuong has generous local customs, beautiful natural scenery; scholars study hard, cultivate etiquette; farmers, men take care of crops, women maintain integrity and virtue...", Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien also expressed his honor to be a candidate for the National Assembly in Nghe An in general, Thanh Chuong district in particular - a land of talented people, with a unique culture and hopes that voters will support and trust him so that he can have more opportunities to meet voters and implement the action program.

One of the key priorities of the candidates also mentioned promoting the potential and strengths of Thanh Chuong to work with the Party Committee and people of the district to build Thanh Chuong to develop quickly and sustainably, ensure national defense and security, and strive to become a fairly developed district of the province.

Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy said that he will pay maximum attention to the development of Thanh Chuong district, first of all improving the quality and production efficiency of the agricultural sector towards clean, organic goods, associated with deep processing, raising the brand of Thanh Chuong agricultural products; calling for the mobilization of resources to build infrastructure, especially transportation; effectively exploiting the district's tourism potential.

With his responsibility, the Provincial Party Secretary also said that he will continue to consult with the Central Government to soon speed up the construction of the Hanoi - Vientiane expressway, with the route passing through Thanh Chuong district, opening up new development opportunities for Thanh Chuong in particular and Nghe An province in general.

Voters highly appreciated the action programs of the candidates and should discuss and make recommendations to the delegates on issues of concern.
