Drug trafficker knocked down in My Ly border commune

(Baonghean.vn) - Subject Va Va Tho stubbornly resisted but was arrested by the working group of My Ly Border Guard Station and Ky Son District Police along with the evidence.

The subject confessed his name was Va Va Tho (born in 1964), residing in Nhot Kho village, Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district. The seized evidence included 157 synthetic drug pills, 7 grams of heroin and 950 thousand VND in cash.

The above drugs were being transported for sale when the subject was arrested. Currently, My Ly Border Guard Station is coordinating with the district police to complete the dossier for handling according to the provisions of the law.

Previously, at 2:00 p.m. on October 25, after receiving information from the people that a subject was transporting drugs into the area, the Command of My Ly Border Guard Station, My Ly Commune, Ky Son District immediately coordinated with Ky Son District Police to deploy an arrest plan.

At 3:20 p.m. the same day, together with the undercover task force, Lieutenant Ly Ba Gio, the captain of the Drug and Crime Prevention Team of My Ly Border Guard Station, knocked down and captured the subject despite his stubborn resistance.
