Quy Hop: Support 20 million VND for family whose house was burned down by fire
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 6, comrade Vo Sy Son, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quy Hop district, together with representatives of the district's Fatherland Front Committee and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Quy Hop visited and gave 20 million VND to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Cao Van Bien in Minh Ho hamlet, Minh Hop commune, whose house was burned down by fire on the afternoon of July 5.

Quy Hop: Large fire burned down more than 1 hectare of bananas, 2 hectares of mixed forest and 1 house.
(Baonghean.vn) - Accordingly, at around 3:30 p.m. on July 5, a large fire broke out in a banana forest in Minh Tien hamlet, Minh Hop commune, Quy Hop district.

Currently, Mr. Cao Van Bien and Mrs. Truong Thi Sam's family have to live in a temporary shelter, life is very difficult, Mr. Bien himself is in poor health, not normal. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quy Hop district donated 20 million VND, the district Red Cross Society supported 1 million VND. In addition, the People's Committee and organizations of Minh Hop commune called for support of an additional 3 million VND in cash and 25 kg of rice along with some items such as clothes and household items to help Mr. Bien's family stabilize their lives soon.

As reported at 12:45 on July 5, 2018, in Minh Hop commune, a forest fire broke out in Minh Ho hamlet, damaging 2 hectares of forest and 2 hectares of bananas. From the forest fire, the fire spread to burn down the entire house and property of Mr. Cao Van Bien's family in Minh Ho hamlet. The fire burned down the 3-room house with a cement roof and all daily necessities in the house. The total estimated property damage was about 65 million VND.
After the forest fire broke out, Quy Hop district mobilized police, military, and local militia forces to control and extinguish the fire at 6:30 p.m. on July 5.
