Quy Hop: Awarding 2 drug cases
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 26, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Quy Hop district organized a reward of 10 million VND to the Quy Hop District Police and related units for successfully solving the 2 special cases 618M & 628M.

Accordingly, at 1:30 p.m. on June 19, 2018, in Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district, Quy Hop district police and PC47 Department - Provincial police coordinated with Traffic Police Team 1.48 - PC67 Department of Provincial police to break up case 628M, arresting 02 subjects Ly Ba Chu, born in 1995 and Ly Ba So, born in 1983, both residing in Tri Le commune, Que Phong district for the act of "Illegal drug trafficking". The seized exhibits included: 02 heroin cakes, 01 motorbike and 02 mobile phones. At the Investigation Police Agency, the subjects honestly confessed their crimes.
Then, at 5:00 p.m. on June 21, 2018, in the hill area bordering Binh Chuan commune, Con Cuong district and Khiet village, Nam Son commune, Quy Hop district, the District Police Working Group broke up the "618M" project, arresting two subjects including: Lo Van Tham, born in 1976, residing in Na Co village, Binh Chuan commune, Con Cuong district and Chu Van Thuy, born in 1987, residing in Quang village, Nam Son commune, Quy Hop district for the act of "illegally buying and selling drugs", confiscating 16.5 grams of heroin, 1 homemade gun, 3 bullets (including 1 loaded bullet), 1 mobile phone and 1.8 million VND in cash. At the Investigation Police Agency, the subjects confessed to their crimes.
Quy Hop district leaders commended the achievements and awarded the forces participating in successfully discovering two special cases, quickly destroying complex drug crime hotspots, and ensuring safety during the case-solving process.
