Quynh Luu: Handing over gratitude house to martyr's wife
(Baonghean.vn)- On the afternoon of July 25, 2016, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district held a ceremony to hand over a house of gratitude to Mrs. Tran Thi Doat - wife of a martyr in Hong Phong hamlet, An Hoa commune.
Her husband died in 1977, leaving Tran Thi Doat to raise four children alone, so life was difficult. Her family's old house had long been damaged and degraded, but they could not afford to rebuild.

Leaders of Quynh Luu district and the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs handed over a house of gratitude to Ms. Tran Thi Doat. |
In May 2016, with the support of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An Province and Mr. Ho Duc Nhan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viet Long Mineral Investment and Exploitation Company - Ho Chi Minh City, donated 50 million VND, along with the help of relatives and local authorities, Ms. Doat's family had the conditions to build a new house.
After 3 months of construction, the 3-room tiled house worth 180 million VND was completed on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27. That is an encouragement and consolation, helping Mrs. Doat have a spacious house to enjoy her old age and a place to worship martyrs, without having to worry every time there is rain, wind, storms and floods./.
