The contest has become a playground for teachers who are currently teaching in the education sector. Not only attracting young teachers to participate, many teachers with many years of experience also participate in compiling and submitting entries.

“Conditional probability” is the name of the lecture by Associate Professor, Dr. Le Van Thanh - Faculty of Mathematics,School of Educationdevoted much effort in the implementation process. Before going into the lesson, teacher Le Van Thanh also gave a simple introduction so that learners could understand what probability is and how to apply the lesson's knowledge to practical problems. This knowledge can help us decide whether it is necessary to quarantine these people or not, to avoid cross-infection and economic costs.

2021 is the 17th year that Associate Professor, Dr. Le Van Thanh has worked atVinh University. Although he has extensive experience in teaching, he also believes that this is the most difficult time when the entire education sector has to switch to online teaching. Personally, when he first got used to this method, he also encountered obstacles in having to change the way he prepares lesson plans and designs lectures to suit the new teaching method. On the learner's side, the condition of unsynchronized learning equipment and poor Internet connection quality are also huge obstacles in the process of learning lessons.

From this reality, when implementing E-learning lectures, teacher Le Van Thanh tried to use open source software and design lectures that are both flexible and easy to understand but still able to convey the profound content of the lesson.

Designing elaborate, easy-to-understand, and easy-to-apply lectures is also the responsibility of teachers to help students learn more effectively, especially when online learning may have to be extended. With his efforts, Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Thanh's lecture was also highly appreciated by the Organizing Committee of the competition and awarded the First Prize for the best lecture.

The group of authors including Dr. Ngo Thi Nhu Tho, Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Dr. Vo Van Dang - Faculty of Physical Education was also awarded First Prize with the lecture "Using non-verbal and non-verbal speech in presenting reports". This is the content of the lesson in the subject "Introduction to Pedagogy" and through an easy-to-understand presentation, the lecture helped students complete the output standards and develop more communication skills through group activities and presentation skills.

Dr. Ngo Thi Nhu Tho also shared: "With this lecture, we will limit the disadvantages of online teaching, increase student interaction, and create a serious but still fun teaching style."

Encourage creativity in teaching and learning

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected teaching and learning at Vinh University for nearly 2 years now. At this time, although the new school year has been nearly 3 months, nearly 40,000 students and trainees of the school still have to organize online learning.

To improve the quality of teaching and learning in the new context and respond to the special emulation movement "The entire education sector unites, joins hands, and competes to prevent, fight and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic, successfully carrying out the tasks of the school year", Vinh University Trade Union has launched an E-learning lesson design contest for all teachers and lecturers of the school at many different levels.

The competition took place in a very urgent time but received the response of many staff, teachers, lecturers in the whole school and really created a "new wind" for teachers to demonstrate their pedagogical talent. To increase interaction, efficiency and objectivity, the Organizing Committee of the competition used social networks to introduce the lectures and considered this as an information channel to listen and poll for opinions contributing to the program.

Through the preliminary rounds, from 75 entries, the Organizing Committee selected 32 entries for the final round to award 4 First prizes and 5 Second prizes.Second prize, 12 third prizes and 11 consolation prizes.

In addition, to encourage and promote the movement, some lectures were also awarded the Level 2 E-learning Lecture Award and the Most Voted Product Award on social networks.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, although this is the first year of the competition, most of the products - E-Learning Lectures are designed products that have been and are being used in the teaching and learning process at all levels of Vinh University (primary, secondary, high school, university, postgraduate) so they have very high practical applicability. In addition, most of the lectures have invested in technology, demonstrating the ability to self-select and flexibly and effectively use a number of information technology tools/platforms in online teaching, with quite good sound and images, vividly, creatively and attractively presented in the form of lectures.

In addition, all lectures are guaranteed to be scientific, accurate in content, content handling and design suitable for students' self-study and suitable for the target audience (students, university students, high school students, primary school students).
