Each aircraft was thoroughly inspected to ensure that it was in good working order.
Despite many difficulties such as: Dien Bien Phu terrain is located in a basin, surrounded by high mountains; some pilots participated in flying activities in this area for the first time, but with the highest determination, the formation training flights of the 3 divisions at Dien Bien Phu airport all took place with absolute safety, meeting the requirements.
According to the plan for the celebration, the air force consisting of 12 helicopters (9 official, 2 reserve and one search and rescue) flying the Party flag and the national flag will perform a demonstration flight over the Provincial Stadium and the areas surrounding Dien Bien Phu City. The flight formations maintain an altitude of 300m or less, when passing the Provincial Stadium, the altitude will decrease to 150m and the flight speed will be 120km/h. Up to now, the joint training work has been basically completed, accurately and safely, ensuring the preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and the official parade and march.
