Landslide causes traffic jam in Nghe An border commune
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 13, Mr. Vi Van Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nam Giai commune, Que Phong district informed: the road section between Chau Kim commune and Nam Giai commune, about 10 km from the center of Nam Giai commune, had just been eroded.
It is known that this is the only asphalt road connecting Chau Kim commune to the center of Nam Giai commune.
The landslide covered the road, making it difficult for people to travel. It is worth noting that the landslide occurred when the weather was normal and there was no rain.

Currently, only motorbikes can pass through, but it is very dangerous because the path is very small and close to the cliff. It is known that the landslide occurred around the evening of January 12th, fortunately there were no people passing by at that time.
According to Mr. Thanh, the local militia has mobilized to clear the area and remove fallen tree branches to ensure safe traffic for motorbikes. At the same time, warnings have been issued to people and vehicles to avoid possible risks.
